The following is a list of recent additions to our website. Whenever we get more data about Boyums of America or finish part of the publication on Boyum family history and genealogy, we'll put a notice here. The most recent changes are listed first, and each item is linked to the page with the updated content.

  • Release 2.013 -- Added story, The Piano Lesson.
• January 30, 2001
  • Release 2.012 -- Fixed naming errors in the photography section of the personal website.
  • Added Christian/Motivational writings under Christianity page of personal website.
  • Adjusted copyright notice to recognize copyright of contributors through the site.
  • Corrected various misspellings.
  • Added Dale Miller to favorite links page.
  • Added first draft of Boyum Families page where we will document various Boyum emigrant ancestors from different families - one of the 2001 Goals.
• January 27, 2001
  • Release 2.011 -- Recreated FTM page pointing to Boyums of America
• January 24, 2001 - Release 2.010
  • Release 2.010 -- Updated relationship files with the new tree data - wrote program to make this task more automatic in the future.
  • Updated GENDEX database with new tree
  • Updated RSL - Rootsweb Surname database with new data
  • Re-promoted to search engines
• January 24, 2001 - Release 2.009
  • Release 2.009 -- Finally updated tree data with 811 new names and 307 new families. More importantly, I got the system setup to be able to do this more easily including some nice customizations.  This will make it easier to update it frequently and as I have recently been given tons of new data, this is really important.
  • Fixed some misspellings on home page.
• January 22, 2001
  • Release 2.008 -- Restructured Lalonde relatives under Lalonde page to serve as a front door for this work in the future.
  • Built some links to the tree on the Lalonde/Allen page -- part of a upcoming test when I update the tree information.
  • Reviewed and updated all page titles to prep for coming promotion
  • Made a few minor home page changes.
• January 20, 2001
  • Release 2.007 -- Constructed the Help/About section - moving What's New and Special Thanks to this section, adding FAQ, Goals 2001, Plans and Status and moving personal site to this page.
  • Created a direct relationship page so everyone can more easily discover their relation to me.  Added a link to the main page's relationship script so it could be clicked on to get to this page.
  • Some minor work on Todd's photography section.
  • Updated tools on the Favorite Sites page

  • Release 2.006 -- Turned on text hover rollover effect.
  • Added Éclat to the poems under writing on Todd Boyum section

  • Release 2.003 -- Added Todd Boyum page - some of my other interests.
  • Added Emonet, Lalonde, Marie-Magdeliene Allen stories to get those families started

  • Release 2.002 -- Added the first Boyum Gallery page. More to come....
  • Gave the Morel Related Families page a unique visual interface.

  • Release 2.001 -- enabled Relative Correspondence, the discussion board to enable everyone to speak to one another.

  • Release 2.0 -- a major restructuring and importing into Front Page 2000 including updates to use some to the tools in Front Page like the discussion forum.  Also to make the system more easy to manage to focus on content development more than HTML scripting.
• December 2, 2000
  • I upgraded the links program to the much improved 2.0 version which fixed all the bad links that were in the pages. Give it a try. You can add your favorite links now easily.
  • Made the marquee and front picture dynamic to make home page more interesting and rotate features of the site to the front

  • Greetings Cousins, Friends and Net Travelers. Thanks to the many who have visited Boyums of America over the last few years. It is hard to believe the site has been up almost three years now. Unfortunately, I let my busy life keep me from adding more of the awesome data about the Boyum genealogy that I have acquired from one source or the other.
    
    But no more!
    
    It is time to start a whole new wave of updates to the site and this is the first entry. Actually, I have been getting organized and doing some background stuff for a few weeks but I can't contain myself anymore -- I had to start the update and today is the day.
    
    The first entry is an updated Mysteries page with a solution to the old mystery and new mysteries to boot. Check it out and check back frequently to see many more changes coming.
