Éclat

Mama, Papa; Tara feels blah.
On our big bed, she falls asleep.
After a time, there's not a peep
as dreams drive her to Shangri-La.

In the morn, it's Mama, Mama,
I want breakfast; from bed, she'll leap.
Mama, Papa; Tara feels blah.
On our big bed she falls asleep.

I think just then what a faux pas
that I, at times, have made her weep
when innocence just will not keep-
Tara: Mama's, Papa's Éclat.

Mama, Papa; Tara feels blah.
On our big bed she falls asleep.
