The Resurrection

October 10, 1983

As black as ink, from in the pen
Upon the page, it must have been
when Jesus died to save all men
upon the cross that day.

He was the life, the truth, the way;
He found the sheep which went astray.
Oh, Sinners, see who you betray;
this man from Galilee.

Oh, the evil catastrophe.
Denied cry of Gethsemane.
Oh, the horrible agony;
Oh, day of dread and gloom.

Behold, this man has met his doom,
Wrapped within linen and perfume;
but behold now, an empty tomb.
Behold, an empty tomb.
